PLAYOFF BASEBALL

What a time in sports right now! NFL season is off and running into Week 7, NBA season is just weeks away for my DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Golden State Warriors, and finally, the most exciting time of the year, PLAYOFF BASEBALL! Of course us Bay Area fans are bummed about our Giants but, we all know its not our year. But for some Bay Area home owners, our roots my not all be from the West Coast. Cubs fans have been thanking Marty McFly for his prediction of the Cubs run to the World Series, thats only if they can get past the red hot New York Mets and they're slugger Daniel Murphy. Toronto and the 6, have been battling the defending ALCS Champions, Kansas City Royals thats now going back to a tough KC crowd to see if they can celebrate with their fans.
My predictions: New York sweeps the Cubs at Wrigley to take the NLCS, while Kansas City takes Game 6 from Toronto to return to the World Series two years in a row.
GO METS!!

Tuesdays with Morrie

Probably one of my top 3 books I have read has to be Tuesdays with Morrie. Its great to know that Mitch was able to reconnect with a proffesor he spent so much time with as a college student. Being able to still have that special of a relationship and have it keep growing until Morries death would be such an amazing feeling. Mitch will never forget the memories, the lunch dates, and the long car rides to visit Morrie. It may be something that Mitch never could have in his hand like money, but in his heart  he will always love the little old man that would spray spit all over him everytime the would meet on those Tuesdays.

Thoughts on Death

Death has always been something that has crossed my mind. But its not something that I'll let get to me or have to worry about. Yeah I know death could occur any moment, but if it does then I know that it was my time to join the people I have lost. Some of which mean the most to me. Some people take death certain ways depending on who has just left you, for me death is a celebration of life! You get to re-live the memories and the moments you got to spend with them. The one thing I'm most excited about death is being able to join my dad in a place of happiness and reconnect with him. One of the most inspirational people in my life. 7/29/2012

Monday Mornings (poem)

Get up, Get ready
but doing it very steady.
Eyes still blind
with a sleepy mind.
Falling out of my bed
already dreading the day.
Too lazy to walk
and still not ready to talk.
Roommates already up
as I'm throwing up in my red solo cup.
School is not cool
like my dogs pool of drool.
But class is in an hour
so I better hop in the shower.
